My goal is to get my work published, to do that I need to shoot, a lot! With that in mind I put casting calls up on ModelMayhem and PurplePort asking for male models to take part in a shoot, the theme, Men in suits. Partially inspired by the phenominal work of Alexander Bather on his shoots for Thomas Farthing Menswear but also by my need to improve my shoot and editing skills.
The first volunteer was Joshua, we met up on what was possibly the hottest day of the year but Joshua was really relaxed, comfortable and easy to work with. As this was the first shoot using a new location I made some mistakes but on the whole we came away with a pretty good selection of shots and I learnt lessons for the next shoot.
